FTX US has raised $400 million from investors including SoftBank and Temasek, giving the cryptocurrency exchange a valuation of $8 billion, according to a Reuters report Wednesday.Crypto investment firms Paradigm and Multicoin Capital also participated in the funding.FTX US intends to use the funds to launch new business lines and explore strategic investments and acquisitions.The exchange acquired futures exchange LedgerX in October as a means of entering the futures and options trading market in the US.
